Growing up on a family farm in Mid-Michigan instilled Lauren’s passion for agriculture and making a difference in her community. After completing her environmental studies and sustainability degree at Michigan State University, Lauren moved to Alaska to pursue environmental education which was rewarding to her in a new way. During her college career, she had many opportunities to learn about regenerative and slow agriculture practices which drew Lauren to the MAEAP program. She is looking forward to making a difference in the pristine agricultural region that the Grand Traverse area provides!
