Description: Vernal pools are critical to a healthy, functioning forest; however, these small but mighty wetlands are often overlooked. This presentation by Abby Pointer, Michigan Vernal Pools Partnership Coordinator at the Michigan Nature Association, will discuss the ongoing conservation work happening in Michigan to protect vernal pools and opportunities to take part in this collaborative effort!
